My name is Zlatta Julia Michaels, I am the owner of Michaels Medical Tourism and I'm sharing my personal journey to Cancun, Mexico, in search of affordable dental care. Initially, I was quoted $60-$80,000 for full mouth implants in the US, which led me to explore alternative options. Due to the complexity of my case, requiring zygomatic implants to avoid extensive bone grafting, I sought specialized care abroad.
Without prior experience or connections in Cancun, I entrusted my care to a provider who, unfortunately, didn't prioritize my well-being. My first trip was successful, thanks to an exceptional surgeon, but subsequent visits were marred by complications. After three weeks in Cancun, I returned home with unresolved issues, requiring additional expertise to correct.
